Welcome to St Bernard’s School! We are proud to be part of the Inspire Connected Communities Trust, a family of schools committed to collaboration, community impact and excellence in education.
At St Bernard’s, we recognise that every child is unique. Across all Key Stages, you will see a range of pathway approaches, but at the heart of everything we do is a strong commitment to individualised learning. We provide a personalised curriculum tailored to meet the needs, strengths and aspirations of each and every student.
All of our children and young people have an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) in place. We proudly support students aged 2 to 19 with a wide range of learning difficulties, ensuring that every learner is given the opportunity to thrive in a supportive and inclusive environment.
In addition to their learning needs, some of our students may have other conditions that impact their development and learning. These can include autism, communication difficulties, complex health needs, sensory processing differences, physical disabilities, profound and multiple learning difficulties, sensory impairments and social, emotional and mental health needs.
Our dedicated staff work closely with families and professionals to ensure that every student receives the support they need to grow in confidence, develop their skills and achieve their full potential.
We are proud of our nurturing community and look forward to welcoming you to St Bernard’s.
